The Love Of The Game
I participated in the Landmark Forum and the Advanced Course early last year in pursuit of mastery in living an extra-ordinary life. One of the distinctions that impacted me greatly was that I can bring the love of the game into any game of life I choose to play. The game is just a game and it does not contain any love of itself. I bring the love to the game and that is what keeps me playing. This year begun with me in graduate school pursuing an MBA in Finance. The whole process of re-orientation to the life of a full time employee and part time student, with all its demands on time, energy, imagination, social interaction, discipline among a host of other demands, has been challenging and draining. I started off energized and motivated but have tapered off to fatigue and pessimism.
